Samples and identification

Customers are responsible for accurately identifying birds and matching each submitted sample to the information entered in the portal. Results apply only to the submitted sample.

Sample quality

Samples that are damaged, insufficient, contaminated, or incorrectly labeled may require recollection. Each sample can be handled independently from the rest of an order.

Turnaround

Results are normally ready within 1–3 business days after the laboratory receives an acceptable sample. Estimates are not guarantees and may change when recollection or additional review is required.

Collection kit dispatch

Collection kits are dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment. Postal transit time is additional. The shipping charge is shown in your cart before checkout.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are issued as credits to your account. Contact the laboratory with your order number to request a refund or cancellation.

Results

Results are released after laboratory review and are intended to support breeding and recordkeeping decisions. Contact Bailey’s with questions about a report.
